10 minute oranges

This is 8 paintings of an orange I did for the 10 minute Daily Paint Works Challenge these are two 6 x 6 canvas panels. I set a timer for 10 minutes for each sketch. The first one is top left and the last bottom right. What a great excersise this is! Will look forward to doing more. Tomorrow I will have my painting class do this.

I love drinking tea in the afternoon. When I was a teenager my friends and I drank so much tea. I bet we drank 4 or 5 cups a day. Tea and cigarette's, better then cigarette's and chocolate milk. I expect only a few will get that reference. No wonder we stayed up so late on school nights!

I painted this for my friend Kevin. It's low fat and gluten free. I hope he likes it. :)

I had fun painting this cupcake; probably would have been more fun to eat but anyway, I do feel this canvas was too rough for this kind of painting. It's so personal what we paint on. I used to love rough texture for everything but lately I find I only like it for landscapes.
