Turkish Sail

I did this painting from a photo when on a trip to Turkey with friends. What a beautiful place, wonderful people, so much fun and with the best of friends!

Landscape Painting: Shed with Clothesline

sold

This shed is next to a house that I have painted before. Three times to be exact! I love the way the grasses in the foreground are so yellow. What I think is charming is the laundry. Funny to think someones laundry as "charming", but something about laundry on a line is just...visually appealing, comforting maybe.  Of course, as long as it's not your own laundry!

Cherry Hill

It was really nice to do a landscape again. I just love this farm. We pass it on the way to a friends house. Finally, one day I remembered to bring my camera. This farm is on a very busy highway and so a bit treacherous it was to photograph. My husband drove behind me on the shoulder while I was getting all the pictures I could without the cars whizzing by. It took awhile, but he was very patient. :)
