5 x 7 oil on canvas panel "Sea Breeze"

Summer is just around the corner. I can feel it! Today was a balmy 70. I will just paint the beach until I can go to the beach!

Mr. Crab, I'm Gonna Getcha!

sold
I can't believe it's October! I'm still stuck at the beach. How sweet is this little boy searching the shallows for Mr.Crab himself! I hope he finds him. :)

Playing In The Sand

This sketch was a bit of a challenge for me. I don't even want to talk about it! But I will. Everything was fine until I decided instead of her pout, like the reference photo, I want her to have a smile. Ruined the whole thing. A friend put in nicely "The joker's daughter" (Soon to be a major motion picture.) a major wipe out. I started to cry, WHAAA, threw some brushes, the studio got a bit messy...then I fixed it! A pout it is.

Landscape Painting: Perched at the Belmar Marina

Something about the way the birds are perched all in a row attracted me. I love the way they do that. They look as if they are really posing for your camera. You think?
