"Pear in Red and Green" 5 x 7 in oil on canvas panel
I have seen many pears, but this one is a real beauty. While hanging out in the produce section on a Saturday night, (Oh right, like you don't ) I spotted her, from afar. It was love. I took her home.She said she would sit for me. She did. This is the result. However, like any great love, she's turning on me. I can see her imperfections, her brown spots if you will. She's getting soft about the middle. It might be time to move on. Our time together was fleeting, but I will never forget.
