"Three Minute Egg" 5 x 7 oil on canvas panel
Again with the egg! I'm on a roll. An "egg roll"! Ha! Sorry, I just couldn't resist. This is really a three minute egg. I felt it took just three minutes to paint! Well, OK, that's a bit of a stretch, anyway, it did not take long. There were no tears, nothing was thrown across the studio, not even a wipe down! This one fell right off my brush onto the canvas. Love when that happens! It's a great feeling. This egg was a joy to paint. It was quick, direct and deliberate painting from clear observation. What I am always chasing after.
