I am very excited about some new work I have planned for this year. I did take a few weeks off for the holiday to refresh myself. However, I have to say, not a good idea to stop painting for so long. Wow...this very simple painting was quite a workout. It's amazing how my eyes take so long to adjust to what I see after such a long break.
